Recession Ale

Simple, classic (and low priced) Pale Ale:  Using Pellet hops and Windsor Ale Yeast to keep costs down!

7 lbs Light Malt Extract
8 oz Dextrin Malt               
8 oz Wheat Malt
4 oz Hops total: Pellet choice or Cascade, Hallertaur or Perle
2 oz hops @ 60 minutes
1 oz hops @ 10 minutes
1 oz hops @ 1 minute

1 tsp Irish Moss, added at beginning of boil

Windsor Ale Yeast or Safale US-05

3/4-cup dextrose for bottle priming   
   
Starting Gravity:1.050-1.053    ABV: 5-5.3%    SRM: 5-8    IBU: 50-60
